BBC Bluetooth Publicity Stunt

utterli-image
I live right next door to the main train station in Berlin, Berlin Hauptbahnhof. It is big, glitzy, and stylish. Yes, there is a giant microphone bursting through the floor, like an alien monolith, surrounded by police tape. If your Bluetooth is on when you're in the train station, within Bluetooth range, you get pitched, in English, about the various media the BBC World News offers: web, television, video, mobile. I received four different messages via bluetooth. The first was a link to the mobile top stories site. Then two videos, one of which showed how hard-hitting the BBC is. Finally, a bright see GIF of the BBC logo and the site URL. I was amused and impressed.
